1st Trip this year

Well we are finally in the water and ready for some cursing the Great Lakes. We Started off (just me as Connie had to work) with a trip to Tawas, MI.

Arrived mid afternoon after a great cruise 25 miles to the south on calm water with the sun shinning. The boat is running great and all systems and improvements seem to be as expected so far.

We started with the mental preparations for the Wings playoff game. All enjoyed the game except for the score... one lousy point could have at least extended the game a little. Any way we drowned our sorrows and turned in early... some did.

Saturday AM the weather was great the Saginaw Bay was calm and Charity Island 14 miles to the SE was on the horizon from a raised vantage point from the marina. So... off I went on a little trip for the afternoon. Charity is one of those islands that has survived since the glaciers retreated thousands of years ago and it is one hard rock surrounded by more hard rocks hidden by a little water to cover. With careful attention to the GPS and depth sounder I managed to avoid the obstacles and arrived in the small harbor in the late late afternoon.

Tom,
I can post through my Gmail account.
I am not able to download or print the Float ER Plan.....through sbcglobal or the gmail account.
Can you recommend a person to forward it to me.
I don't feel comfortable not having it at my fingertips.
Sorry for the extra inconvenience at this point.
